v0.9.4 — stable
Watch your logs.
Sleep anyway.
A single static binary that tails your logs, spots the patterns you care about and pings you — without a database, an agent fleet or a monthly bill.
$ curl -fsSL get.example.com/tidewatch | sh
$ tidewatch run -c /etc/tidewatch.toml ✓ loaded 4 sources, 7 rules ✓ notifier: webhook ready 14:02:11 nginx/access ok 312 req/min 14:02:41 app/worker warn queue depth 1,204 (rule: backlog) 14:03:02 postgres ok checkpoint complete 14:03:15 app/api error 5 × timeout in 60s → alert sent
Small on purpose
One binary, ~6 MB
No runtime, no dependencies. Copy it to the box and run it.
Plain config
Rules live in one TOML file. Match with regex, count, threshold, done.
Any notifier
Webhooks, email or a shell command — whatever you already use.
Gentle on resources
Under 15 MB of RAM tailing a dozen busy files. Runs fine on the cheapest VPS.
